Mix and Match prints

Hey!!! I feel like i have been MIA a little on the blog aspect of things, so i thought i would try to get a post in this month before it ends! Its hard to believe Thanksgiving is this week and then Christmas is next holiday to come, i mean where did the time go!? I have not been prepared for any of it either, although i  did skip past all the Thanksgiving  stuff and put everything Christmas out in our household like 2 weeks ago lol, ( yeah I’m one of those people ) But i am going to be working on some holiday gift guides for you all very soon! Im wanting to do one for gifts under $50 and gifts under $100, also the his and her gift ones, i always seem to find those very helpful, especially the guys because they can be tougher to buy for.

Moving on to this post, Since it has been nothing but getting colder in KY, i have been trying out different sweaters and for some reason I’m so big in the stripe trend, i mean this is nothing new if you have been following me for a while, then you obviously know i and huge fan of all things striped. However, on this look i went to the bolder side of things and took the leap to mix and match two prints, Stripes and plaid. Some people think no you can’t mix a print with different one, but i say the more the better! I LOVE a good mix up! Fashion is a  big cycle of dos and don’ts, so you won’t be pleasing everyone with your outfit but if you like it, thats all that matters! I want you all to be interested in what i wear and hopefully inspire you all to do the same, or buy what i like!

My multi color stripe sweater is on sale for $39 and can be paired with a skirt, or jeans for fall and into winter! Also this skirt is an awesome buy, I love any plaid and thought … “oh i don’t have a plaid skirt yet” so thats why i go it, and i have worn it with both boots and sneakers to dress it up and dress it down for a more casual look. I will be linking all of my outfit details under the pictures as usual, and you can shop similar sweaters ( i couldn’t find the link to the exact one on my LiketoKnowIt) and my skirt on my LTKit page as well. The exact sweater is linked in this post! I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Prints trending this fall

Hello everyone! I have been a long time coming back on here, but you know how busy life can be, i am having fun though getting into the fall of things such as pumpkin everything and the amazing trends for this season. I have seriously been spending my time doing research on what is to be big this fall, and I’m here to tell you that animal prints are one of them.  I am sure you have seen the gram flooded with nothing but snake prints and leopard. We all know this isn’t a new printer something, however you will be seeing A LOT more of it particularly this fall! I had been on the hut for a cute snake print dress and finally got one for less than i had even planned for and I’m so happy it ended up that way!

This snake print dress from Nasty Gal was on sale for only $25, and is so comfortable to dress up for fall, I wanted to add a pop of color so i paired it with my red Topshop cross body bag  and  white booties , I think the boots give it a more edgy look .(links are under the photo) If you are one to not hop on board with the latest trends or find that maybe this is to much for your taste, i would always recommend starting out with something less bold in a animal print, like a clutch or earrings, that way you can still rock the trend and not be out of your comfort zone! I love when i see you all ordering my looks, it makes me so happy to know my content is exciting to you!

Transitional Skirt for Fall

HEY!! I thought i would come back to the blog to share with you all a fun piece we just got done shooting for one of my friends new online clothing companies called Electra Apparel , i found this amazing embroidered skirt on their site and fell in love with all the colorful details on it.

Im currently deciding on all my fall must haves for the upcoming season , so i will be doing a roundup of my favorites next post… so stay tuned, but lets talk a little more about this transitional look here that would be perfect for ending summer in. The detail in this skirt make it very easy to mach it up with anything in your closet, i of course thought a pop of red would bring the colors more to life. My camisole is by Topshop from Nordstrom, and it comes in four colors, so any of the colors would go great with this skirt.

Electra Apparel has everything you need to add for your fall wardrobe like cute dresses , tops and skirts like mine! Click on highlighted words for the links, and you will be redirected to Electra Apparel to shop!

Best Summer Swimsuits

Happy Tuesday loves! I hope your week is off to a great start! I’m currently in “inpatient mode” for our trip coming up this weekend, come this Friday we will be taking the kids to Disney, so I’m in the process of packing all things for sunny weather! I will be sharing our trip on my Insta stories so stay tuned for all of it!

This post has been a long time coming and I’m so happy to finally share some of my favorite style of swimsuits for summer from one of my favorite companies Riviera Coco

I was first introduced to this swimsuit company this year and I’m so happy i found them to help complete my summer style and needs! They are a swimsuit company based in Paris France but got their name from the ideal of the amazing French Riviera , each one of their bikinis have a unique style and are always up to trend. I love that they provide simple solid colors and offer subtle patterns too, they offer the today style bikinis without the high price tag which is another reason they are now my summer go to! Im that girl at the beach that has to wear a new bathing suit  everyday, i can never wear the same one twice in the week of a vacation lol. So with the help of Riviera Coco I’m able to afford several different ones and still look on point in the fashion world!

Swimsuit Pictured: Cala Saona

I ordered a traditional black two piece with the tie top and high waisted bottom! I went this black because thats one classic color you can never go wrong with when it comes to swim, plus its so easy to mix and math with other swimsuits if you want to! This one is only $39 for the whole look too! the next day at the beach i had a fun time wearing my  red Marseille flounce bikini, this one screams I’m here to look cute and have fun! I chose this one simply because i love the ruffle trim on the top and i noticed i had no red swimsuits so i thought… why not give it a try! This suit looks so good on and stays in place very nicely plus its only $40 too! When ordering keep in mind they do run on the smaller side so i happened to order a large top and bottom in both and they fit perfectly!

You honestly can’t go wrong with any bikini from Riviera Coco, they are all so cute and hold up extremely well for the price! I will definitely be ordering more to finish out my summer, Please feel free to send me any messages or emails on any questions you might have about their pieces, I’m always here to help when it comes to sharing my thoughts on the things i recommend!

Things To Do In Palm Beach

Welcome back friends! I have to say its been a bit since my last post but only because i have been so busy! This summer is off to such a good one and i don’t want to see it end! If you keep up with my Blog  on a regular basis and my IG handle then you probably have a good idea of what I’m going to be sharing with you! So here recently me and the hubs went to Florida for a little  get away vacay for R and R and because it was our second year anniversary! I had always wanted to go to palm beach because i had heard it was so beautiful and let me tell you it was, so I’m here to share a quick highlight from everything to where we ate and what i wore!

Some of you had messaged me about things to do , first off we stayed in one of the most stunning resorts there… Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa. It was all designed by Jonathan Adler so i quickly became obsessed with all the bold colors and pretty patterns. If you need a place to stay this will be your “GO TO”, the Temple Orange restaurant for breakfast had to be my favorite and if you do go please get the mango pancakes with the coconut syrup , your tastes buds will love you forever. The resort has a perfect view of the beach and palm trees all around for the perfect view of shade!

First, lets talk more about food, we made our anniversary dinner at a fine Italian restaurant called Renato’s, i had heard of it before and did some researching on it before we finally decided, a lot of celebrities like to go here when they are in that area because the food is amazing and its super low key , tucked away inside some shops. When we were there i literally forgot we were in florida the whole time, the setting of the restaurant is so realistic, you actually feel like you’re in the middle of Italy! Its simply amazing! I had the Rigatoni all Vodka and a peach martini…. divine!

Second, this was so cool to finally see in person and this is Billionaires row. So yeah of course we all hear about it and know Trumps house Mar-a-lago is there, but these houses are some serious dream homes, i mean maybe in my next life or if we happen to invent something then ill have one lol, but these homes are…. GOALS. So be sure to drive down Ocean Blvd to see all of them i promise your mouth will drop and make you want to move asap!

Third, yes I’m saving the best for last  that is Worth Avenue. If you love to shop like me this is what your favorite part will be, I was just telling another blogger last week to make sure she hits up worth to shop and plus its every bloggers dream shoot spot for that perfect picture! I told her to make sure to take lots of pics! But as far as store they have all the good ones and more! Worth starts at Saks and Neiman Marcus , then goes to Gucci, Dior, Chanel, Ralph Lauren and more! It is so amazing, we happened to spend way too much in Saks right off the bat, and i will be sharing what we got below! Bond no 9. perfume for me and cologne for him! This stuff is amazing, however you can only get it in NYC or Saks thats it! I don’t like spending too much on perfume, but this is well worth every penny! Plus its unique to get! I even got partnered to be on their list so i can get refills sent to me whenever i want from now on, i love building relationships with people in my favorite stores, so a huge thanks to Beth at Saks in Worth Ave!

I could go on more about my trip , but i don’t want to keep you reading what i have to say forever, so long story short, go to Palm Beach and enjoy the beautiful beach and shop at some of the best stores while eating the best foods! I hope to hear from you, if you ever go so i can see what you did!

Stripes For Summer

Hello Friends,  I wanted to share a quick, but informational post with you this week on one of my favorite pattern trends for summer this year! If you haven’t been keeping up with things on the fashion side of the world, stripes and polka dots are becoming the forever patterns of summer! Yeah they’re nothing new, but I’m so happy this trend is SO in right now! Somehow i keep finding that everything i am buying lately literally has been stripes in some way, ( I’m not mad about it thought haha)

This week had been a little rough for me , so I’m happy to get a way and take a little break from reality to share with you all one of my recent looks with Topshop. If you follow along with my IG as well you probably have some idea with the top I’m going to be talking about, if not just follow along! I have had to stock up with many cute summer find before we leave for palm beach next week and i swear Topshop never fails to let me down, i even ordered a pair of their paper bag pants today so i will be taking those along with me on out trip too! Their clothes are always on point , but sizing runs a  bit smaller so I’m always having to order up when getting their pieces. ( for reference I’m wearing a size 6 / 2-4 )

I have had this top for a couple weeks now and it keeps going in and out of stock in few sizes and it just went back out of stock … such a bummer, but no worries i have so many more cute stripe tops that are either similar to the one I’m wearing and even cuter 🙂 Im loving  the ones with the black and white stripes like this Humbug stripe blouse i found and the multi color vertical stripes like this one. ( click on links for pictures) Both of these tops are so good for now and into summer, the black and white one is easy to pair with some cute linen pants or shorts and the multi color one can easily be thrown on with your favorite pair of denim shorts. Either way your sure to be in style with these stripes.  Follow my pictures for some upcoming summer style inspiration.  Look forward to some of my new vacation styles coming soon!

Top 3 Reasons You Should Invest In A Gucci Belt

Hey Friends! It’s been a busy few weeks for us at the Bowlds household but I’m so happy to be able to share something that i have been wanting to talk about for a long time! Some of you follow me to keep up with the latest sales and to see what trends are big for that particular season, but i wanted to do a little different post this time to share my top 3 reasons on why you should put your money towards a Gucci belt.

  1. We have all heard this but Quality over Quantity right!? This belt may be a bit out of price range for some, but one feature is that its meant to last a lifetime so you only have to bite that bullet once when adding this to your cart
  2. It will be the Centerpiece of all outfits you wear, so those nights you stand in your closet and scream ” I have nothing to wear” well this belt fixes all problems. You could literally throw this belt on with sweatpants and it instantly dress it up, and you look like a million bucks. ( don’t really wear it with sweatpants though, that was just a example)
  3. The final and most important reason  i think you should investing a Gucci belt is the resale value for this will never go down! So once you invest your money into something of great value or that is expensive and also a luxury brand, the resale value on that item will still be at about the same price you purchased it for, (depending on its condition) i bought mine for $390 but if i wanted to sale it sometime because i want a different one i could get the money out of it so really its like you never lose your money!! Its amazing , so take my advice and go ahead and take the plunge into getting you that Gucci belt you always wanted!

I hope this post becomes useful to most, and if it doesn’t well… i at least hope i helped you learn something about putting your money into luxury brand items.

this is not a paid nor sponsored post with Gucci, its my person opinion on the belt because i love it so much.
